    A good solid resource for teaching composition to freshmen This book breaks down academic writing from initial concept and thesis through final drafts The book is very short and concise, so instructors will need to supplement with additional reading material There is a longer edition of this book that contains readings something to consider.

    I gave this four stars because it is just muchapplicable than any other core composition book I ve seen out there It s a bitexpensive for students than I would like, but it is both useful and accessible.
