    It didn t really feel like a Lovecraft story I have to wonder if it was so sub par story that they wrote together and someone found it and decided to publish it I really don t know I only know that it doesn t read like a Lovecraft and it doesn t have the same feel to it It also does not appear in any of his collected works If anyone has any information on it I d like to know That being said, Lovecraft or not, it s not that great of a story Lots of description and allusions but no real st It didn t really feel like a Lovecraft story I have to wonder if it was so sub par story that they wrote together and someone found it and decided to publish it I really don t know I only know that it doesn t read like a Lovecraft and it doesn t have the same feel to it It also does not appear in any of his collected works If anyone has any information on it I d like to know That being said, Lovecraft or not, it s not that great of a story Lots of description and allusions but no real story Not even a cohesive mood ties it together

    Overwrought prose with an attempt at a mood terror distillation, which mostly made me laugh, tbh There are things one can scream to invoke terror Four O Clock is not one of them though I can imagine a better writer making it work I wantedbackground to the story, and I wantedthan a mood piece Worth reading if you re a Lovecraftian completist, but not really otherwise.
