Old Man LoganPLOT WHAT WHO IS THIS GUY He s wearing Wolverine s face slightly older but yet he s taking beatdowns from a gang that s descended from Bruce Banner Logan makes a deal with an old ally now blind Hawk Eye former Avenger in order to get payment to pay off the gang to protect his family Since he s now a farmer and makes just enough to provide Hawkeye has a package to drop off, so off they head in Peter Parker s old ride across the 4 Kingdoms They come across a lot of setbac Old Man LoganPLOT WHAT WHO IS THIS GUY He s wearing Wolverine s face slightly older but yet he s taking beatdowns from a gang that s descended from Bruce Banner Logan makes a deal with an old ally now blind Hawk Eye former Avenger in order to get payment to pay off the gang to protect his family Since he s now a farmer and makes just enough to provide Hawkeye has a package to drop off, so off they head in Peter Parker s old ride across the 4 Kingdoms They come across a lot of setbacks and challenges from Moloids and Ghost Riders to name a few but Logan holds true to his word to Hawkeye that he s not that man any Although Hawkeye still thinks there s some Wolverine left in him It s a long journey but the two former heroes finally make it there Only to discover this is a setup The package to be delivered contained a serum for setting up a new team of Avengers Hawkeye is killed for the contents of the package While Logan faces off with Red Skull After his defeat, Logan makes it back to find out the Banner gang has killed off his family Which turns him back into the Wolverine And now he has a murderous vendetta and goes out to take out his RAGE on the Hulk Gang.MY THOUGHTS I read this because after wondering what the movie Logan was based on I found that this was loosely where the material came from And I mean VERY loosely The only thing that that movie and this movie had in common was Logan gets older and he goes on a mission to deliver something after offering to get paid for it Other than that Two totally different stories I almost didn t read this when I found that out However, my best friend intrigued me He so elegantly summarized the part about Wolverine in an illusion haze caused by Mystio killed off all the members of his own team and Jubilee and then tried to kill himself by laying on a railroad track OCH And so in interest, I picked the comic back up And what a wild ride it was It had a gritty feel to it As it was jarring to me to see the most bad ass, vicious, X Man reduced to this pitiful excuse of a man that couldn t even defend himself And heart breaking to see what became of his family because of the Hulk Gang s bullying But it was amazing to see his come back Also equally disturbing to see what became of Bruce Banner And uh GROSS Who in their right man would want to sleep with one of the Hulks Not to mention that the sick thought of reproducing just to reproduce with a family member It was also different to see what become of these world s though we didn t get told how they came to be that way Some of the names I recognized Thor, Magneto Others I wasn t familiar with Red Skull, King Pen And even though Peter Parker wasn t actually in this comic, his presence was felt through his daughter, grand daughter, and car Can I get a car that you don t actually need sight to drive How even does that work and someone has to navigate And this is Peter s youngest daughter Who was she married to because The artwork was nicely done The action was REALLY good The return of Wolverine definitely did not disappoint and stole the show I even liked the added details of The Red Skull having things that belonged to the Superheroes he d conquered in his lair This and the movie was a different kind of Wolverine story than what I was used to and it was a little crazy but it was a cool comic RATING 71 2

Just judging off of this issue I m so unbelievably glad that Logan went in the direction that it did Even if they could ve adapted this exactly I feel like it would ve translated awkwardly onscreen Either way I m excited to see exactly where this goes while I gear up to go see Logan again.
