    3.6 Stars For Series Since there were 5 books in the Flypaper series so far, I m doing a review on them as a whole considering they re novellas The books are just great Down right eerie and full of unexpected expectations The books follow Nick Dawkins, a popular horror author who moves to a small town called Forest Downs He s a lonely guy with only the company of his foul mouthed, super quirky webmaster, CorpseFlower, who he s never met in person, his literary agent, Beatrice, a sweet old c 3.6 Stars For Series Since there were 5 books in the Flypaper series so far, I m doing a review on them as a whole considering they re novellas The books are just great Down right eerie and full of unexpected expectations The books follow Nick Dawkins, a popular horror author who moves to a small town called Forest Downs He s a lonely guy with only the company of his foul mouthed, super quirky webmaster, CorpseFlower, who he s never met in person, his literary agent, Beatrice, a sweet old couple, a local cop, Sheriff Reed, and his mental insane mother who used to poison him as a child After living in the area for quite some time, things go down in Forest Downs that make the town locals literary want to rip out Nick Dawkins guts Yikes Nick Dawkins becomes what his psycho ex girlfriend calls flypaper , drawing his mentally unstable fans, known as Maggots, to the secluded town Murder and mystery plaque the town as Dawkins crazed Maggot fans scheme and plot ways to flip Nick s life upside down on their underground fan cite called Miyasis The Maggot fans collaborate on many terrifying ideas about their favorite author From eating his brains, wearing his skin as an overcoat, and doing some rather unpleasant things to his manhood Oh GEEZE Flypaper is as funny as it is dark and gruesome and is a great read for those cloudy days in bed Keep the doors locked, and your gun ready, and be careful what you write You never know who s stalking you in Forest Downs and eager to turn your gory, fiction tales into a real life walking NIGHTMARE

    Still enjoy the series as a whole and the concept but I m fading a bit after 4 books in a row I m ready to put money that my guess on who the Administrator s, which has changed since book 2, is being dragged out a bit Nice to get a bitbackground on the Webmaster CorpseFlower, but it wasn t the payoff I would have hoped for I suppose the delay in getting to book 6 is in the aftermath of this one on some of Nick s friends and figuring out how to continue not to reveal the Administrator s Still enjoy the series as a whole and the concept but I m fading a bit after 4 books in a row I m ready to put money that my guess on who the Administrator s, which has changed since book 2, is being dragged out a bit Nice to get a bitbackground on the Webmaster CorpseFlower, but it wasn t the payoff I would have hoped for I suppose the delay in getting to book 6 is in the aftermath of this one on some of Nick s friends and figuring out how to continue not to reveal the Administrator s identity for another book I ll still read it
