    There is so much good information in this book It is full of practical ideas and relevant theory regarding teaching high ability students I highly recommend this text, especially for secondary teachers, though elementary teachers would also certainly benefit I am sure I will refer back to this book often throughout my career.

    I received this book for free through Goodreads First Reads.I can not pretend to have made it all the way through this book yet, but because I ve had it for a few weeks, I felt the need to give a timely review.I can t say enough great things about this book Every chapter has a wide array of knowledge, from resources to references It not only has a section for each subject, detailing ways to optimize the students learning, but also has examples of work that might be done by the student and ques I received this book for free through Goodreads First Reads.I can not pretend to have made it all the way through this book yet, but because I ve had it for a few weeks, I felt the need to give a timely review.I can t say enough great things about this book Every chapter has a wide array of knowledge, from resources to references It not only has a section for each subject, detailing ways to optimize the students learning, but also has examples of work that might be done by the student and question samples This book would be a valuable addition to any teacher who has a gifted student in the classroom

    Good mix of theory and praxis for educators of gifted students Looks at many aspects of gifted education and what sets these students learning styles apart Gives practical advice for different types of learning activities long term, not just lesson plans , and concludes with two chapters on each major area of language arts, math, science, and social studies.
