The premise of this book that it s for kids who don t like staying still is a great addition to alphabet books Active learning is fun for kids who enjoy sitting and reading a book, too Directed, purposeful movement definitely helps with learning I like the inclusion of words like imitate and memorize, which don t often occur in alphabet books I m sure kids will enjoy acting out the suggested tasks.I m not a fan of the kind of artwork in this book, but that s a subjective thing.

I won this in a giveaway I was attracted to the description being for kids who didn t sit still It lived up to my expectations Each letter of the alphabet has a poem about activity with the letter and then the facing page gives the reader or listener an action to do related to the letter poem What a great way to engage an active one into the joy of reading Great idea
