    I was missing books like this one Such a great reading by a new author that I found by accident The story revolves around Clary and the boys that she meets in summer camp and you can see their relationship evolving through the book.I really like how the MC knows what she wants despite her age and is not afraid to go for it and I especially liked the sexy scenes I wont sayto avoid spoilers but if you like books by authors like C L Stone and Brandy Slaven you ll love this one.I m really I was missing books like this one Such a great reading by a new author that I found by accident The story revolves around Clary and the boys that she meets in summer camp and you can see their relationship evolving through the book.I really like how the MC knows what she wants despite her age and is not afraid to go for it and I especially liked the sexy scenes I wont sayto avoid spoilers but if you like books by authors like C L Stone and Brandy Slaven you ll love this one.I m really looking forward for book 2

    AnnoyingOmg I couldn t get past the first few pages I rarely write bad reviews because I was raised believing that if you don t have anything nice to say, don t say anything I was just really annoyed with the characters from the beginning I am so sorry but, it s a do not read for me.

    MehSeriously I love RH novels One of my favorite sub genres even the teen young adult ones From slow medium burn to steamy, I like it all However my number one rule is you have to have a well developed characters and plot.This was basically none of that, just a teenage sex book The plot was underdeveloped and the writing sub par Clary was just annoying and most of the supporting characters were extreme and over the top The guys have insta lust to insta love Xander and Logan were fine i MehSeriously I love RH novels One of my favorite sub genres even the teen young adult ones From slow medium burn to steamy, I like it all However my number one rule is you have to have a well developed characters and plot.This was basically none of that, just a teenage sex book The plot was underdeveloped and the writing sub par Clary was just annoying and most of the supporting characters were extreme and over the top The guys have insta lust to insta love Xander and Logan were fine in the beginning, but became so underwhelming as the story progressed Joel was just a womanizer, though a good sounding board I guess He ironically had the most depth out of all of the characters Now I did not mind that they were 18 and Clary 16 I did have an issue with Austin being a 20 year old college grad pining after some junior in high school I cannot get beyond that when they interact especially his childishness and moving so crazily fast into a sexual relationship with an obvious minor I mean had she been 18 or even 17 going on 18 soon This was just not even addressed as being an issue Must be a rich thing Spoiler ALERT the rape was just swept under the rug I mean it was barely brought up again and the girl bounced back so quickly Her BFF, Brie, just didn t bring it up at all How is this relatable In what world does that am happen Bullying, assault, underage drinking, and sex all happening and not one adult does anything since they don t want a lawsuit or in Clary s and Hazel s case to be pulled from camp I mean they were all doing this guests and counselors alike with absolutely no FEAR of getting caught except for their reputation No fear of being kicked out, arrested, caught by any authority in the camp Nothing.This book just had too much happening and hardly any resolution to any of the tension.Overall this book was Meh and just hard to finish There is potential, but needs an overhaul on some key areas I read the blurb for the next one and didn t see much difference Even added inguys moving next door Yeah shall not be continuing this series

    Lake Emerald Chronicles The First Summer by Melissa Adams, is a Reverse Harem Romance My review I saw this bookof a Forbidden Love Story rather than a Reverse Harem Romance If you relate Reverse Harem with adult love, I suggest you go into this book seeing it as a Forbidden Love This view is based on the age differences between the heroine and heros, as well as the positions 3 of the heros hold as counselors of the camp and the heroine being a camper There is a lot of controversi Lake Emerald Chronicles The First Summer by Melissa Adams, is a Reverse Harem Romance My review I saw this bookof a Forbidden Love Story rather than a Reverse Harem Romance If you relate Reverse Harem with adult love, I suggest you go into this book seeing it as a Forbidden Love This view is based on the age differences between the heroine and heros, as well as the positions 3 of the heros hold as counselors of the camp and the heroine being a camper There is a lot of controversial topics and situations throughout this book so I do recommend you go into this book with an open mind There is underage drinking and sex throughout this novel and where I come from, this is not uncommon Therefore I was able to see past these issues some would have problems with and focuson the love interests and stories that were being told The overall story does need work on, but the characters were the highlight of this book for me Concerns I do want to share these with you so you are aware This novel does have some formatting issues due to how it transferred onto kindle format, according to author and editing needed There is a recount of rape and is not addressed the way I would prefer when rape is involved The author has mentioned it will be addressed in following books, I just wished it was addressed better in this book, and takenseriously Overall This book has so much potential to grow in the following books as this is the authors first book

    This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers To view it, click here Well, I m not sure what I expected but I really enjoyed this book It did have moments where it felt a bit over the top in how the big focus of the relationships building was the very frequent physical interactions Andthan once I wanted to slap some of the female characters But the plot did thicken Not sure it answered some very big questions Namely, who specifically was sending the notes And what exactly did the guys plan for the winter They seemed pretty adamant they would see her Well, I m not sure what I expected but I really enjoyed this book It did have moments where it felt a bit over the top in how the big focus of the relationships building was the very frequent physical interactions Andthan once I wanted to slap some of the female characters But the plot did thicken Not sure it answered some very big questions Namely, who specifically was sending the notes And what exactly did the guys plan for the winter They seemed pretty adamant they would see her but all we got in this book was trust us A bit frustrating Overall enjoyable though
