Commissioned and published by Street Smith for it s own 100th birthday, it s a fun source of information on Story Papers, Dime Novels, Pulp Magazines, and post ww2 slicks ok, not that great on the history of non Street and Smith slicks , If they had only waited 4years, we could have had the entire history in 1959 they were purchased by Conde Nast But maybe the book was also a sales tool A few warts mentioned, but of course those are good warts that helped the company grow Those of Commissioned and published by Street Smith for it s own 100th birthday, it s a fun source of information on Story Papers, Dime Novels, Pulp Magazines, and post ww2 slicks ok, not that great on the history of non Street and Smith slicks , If they had only waited 4years, we could have had the entire history in 1959 they were purchased by Conde Nast But maybe the book was also a sales tool A few warts mentioned, but of course those are good warts that helped the company grow Those of us who like this sorta thing, are really going to like this sorta thing
